There will be no Mass at Sacred Heart or St.Malachy on Thursday, November 6th.
There WILL be adoration beginning at 8:30 am at Sacred Heart.

Rosary Rally to Support Our Police
Join us in praying the rosary on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at noon near the church office in Boone. Our law enforcement officers protect and serve us, keeping our communities safe, responding to our calls for help, and running into danger to protect us while others are running away. Be thankful for their protection while we all celebrate the holidays in the comfort of our homes. St. Michael protect our police, so that they can protect us.

Our Parish Dinner, held at Sacred Heart, is this Sunday! This annual event is intended to build community between our three churches – Sacred Heart, St. Malachy, and St. John. It is also the ONLY FUNDRAISER for the Ascension Parish general fund.

Diocesan Women's Gathering
Wreaths Across America
This Christmas we will be placing wreaths at the headstones of our Military Veterans buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery and Ogden Cemetery. Last year we placed over 300 wreaths to honor these men and women. If you would like to sponsor a wreath the cost is $17. You will find envelopes on the table in the lower Narthex marked Wreaths Across America. Please make checks out to Ascension—Sacred Heart and in the memo line put Wreaths across America. If you would like one for Ogden Cemetery please mark Ogden on the envelope.
Wreaths will be placed at the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Dec. 13th at 11 am, following a short program and a blessing of the wreaths. A light lunch will be served in Fitzgerald Hall after wreaths have been placed.
